Head of Department

Dr James Ben Hayfron-Acquah is the Head of Department.

He is a Senior Lecturer. He received the BSc degree in Computer Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana in 1991, his MSc Computer Science and Applications degree from Shanghai University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China in 1996 and his PhD from the Southampton University, Southampton, England in 2003. He is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, KNUST. He has over 50 publications to his credit. His main research areas include Biometrics, Cloud Computing, Image Processing and Computer Vision
